Join Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, City Commissioners, and other elected officials tomorrow, November 6 at 10 am to celebrate the opening of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts! The ceremonial ribbon cutting will honor everyone who has made the dream a reality through their efforts for the past 25 years. After the ribbon cutting, the community is invited into the Dr. Phillips Center for an open house to tour the venue.
This new venue features the 2,700-seat Walt Disney Theater, 300-seat Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater, Seneff Arts Plaza, School of Arts, the DeVos Family Room and other event rental spaces.
Guests will take self-guided tours and explore the Della Phillips Grand Lobby, the Walt Disney Theater, the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater, and the Seneff Arts Plaza. The tour will include stops for photo opportunities, and participants will have a chance to purchase tickets for upcoming shows and events.
